Heather

I have a sweet tooth, as I am sure we all do, and I am always looking for a healthy option for a treat. Tonight I had a super yummy treat that is pretty healthy. First off I buy frozen berries that have no added sugar. I warmed them up and added slices of a banana topped with light whipped topping. It was soooooooo good and even though I love a good brownie, this otion is way better because it is super yummy and it is super healthy!

Tip from Me!!

I just found out about this incredibly awesome website. It's www.livestrong.com. Click on the daily plate option, then My Daily Plate.

You can enter your calories, exercise, goals and pretty much anything you want. It helps you calculate your calories and how much exercise and pretty much everything for you. I love it!!! Try it out and have a blast. It can be pretty addicting though!!

Heather

I had to return my tredmill yesterday. I bought a used tredmill and I really didn't want to return it, but it had mechanical problems. Now I have to wait at least 2 weeks for a replacement (or my old one back). Sad day, I loved having my tredmill. I just don't feel the same when I don't get some exercise in and it is really hard to get it in with this super yucky weather and a busy schedule with all 8 kids.
I seem to be up a pound and down a pound around 170 always. I don't know what to do to lose weight. But I do feel like I am a lot healthier with exercising for 4 weeks, I just hope to find a way to do something over the next 2-3 weeks.

Heidi Week 6

Well, I definitely don't feel like week 6 should feel. I know that I am getting healthier. I ran 3 miles this morning and then did 15 min on the eliptical machine and didn't use my inhaler at all. That's a small victory for me. My weight is frustrating me though. I am at 160 and holding strong. I REALLY want to lose 15 more lbs. If I don't start concentrating on my calories I am not going to see that happen.

I haven't heard from some of you in awhile. I hope you are all having some small victories. Stick with it!! Spring break is around the corner and wouldn't it feel good to shed some pounds before then?!

Heather - March 4, 2010

I am sitting around 168 right now. I am hopeful that I will continue to lose and go down, not back up. I keep working out each day for 30 min. and I am still sore all the time. I am planning on adding another workout soon, maybe next week but I am not sure yet. If I can lose this weight then I will have a large summer wardrobe to work with for capris. If not I will need to buy some clothes. Since I can't afford to go shopping, I guess I better kick things up a bit and lose this weight.

Heather

It feels like the beginning of week 3 for me since it is the beginning of my third week of workouts. My weight is unchanged, but I know I have been getting some good workouts in. I feel good about my progress.
